Back in the "studio"

Well I haven't pulled out my makeshift studio stuff in a while and the light coming into the house today was nice so I gave it a shot. Most of them were rubbish but this one I liked. What is your opinion? Too soft?

Not too soft at all, I really like it! You've got the focus spot on on the eyes and the skin tones look really natural. I love the composition too. I think it's an excellent shot One tiny niggle, the strand of hair going the opposite way on his fringe. Very minor point though

I like this shot as well, skin tones do look very good. Looks like a SPiderman costume

Nice work.
The eyes are great.
Can't decide if it's not sharp enough in the skin tones or not.
Ohh there's crust under the nose (my 3yr old has it on what seems like a permanent basis - you clean him, go for the shot, it's there again (?go figure) anyway I got very good at spot brushing it away).

Seems just right for this type of shot I think...apart from the crusty which I didn't notice at first. lol.

Well I can find nothing to criticise so it’s a 9 from me.
