Had a couple days off so me and the family went to the local zoo at banham, as this has the biggest bird display area. Also very good viewing area's for photography, no chain link fence :razz: but big glass area.(y)

This bald eagle was out in the open and only 6ft from the fence, so I managed to get 3 shot's between snow/hale showers.

f/frames shot @ differant focal lenghts or distance depending on C.F.D . :D

Im only now sorting out the kite, barn owl, gt grey owl from the display.

There will also be the big cats and other to come.

Nice set, the close up in the last one has magnificent detail.

Banham is a lovely zoo, ideal for families used to go there alot when kids were little.

Did you get any of the new baby giraffe?

sorry i did'nt as they where in doors because the weather was dreadful.
