I had a run down to Cadwell Park on Easter Saturday for some BARC Championship racing. The race card was full of classic touring cars, and most importantly as far as I was concerned, the Austin Healey Club Championship series.

#1 Big Healeys at Hall Bends

#2 The mighty Talbot Sunbeam Lotus of Joss Ronchetti

#3 Classic Thunder Championship cars

#4 More Austin Healey racing - this was the slowest car out there, but so pretty with the Sebring back on on it.

#5 The 2CV racing was hilarious, but actually really close and good to watch

#6 Big Healey's at Charlies - what a glorious noise they made!!

continued......

#7 This car looked the part, sounded the part, and went like stink!

#8 The most entertaining car of the day. This little mini went around every corner in a perfectly controlled four wheel drift.

All in all, it was a superb day of racing. There's a full gallery on my website (www.srh-motorsport-photography.co.uk) for those that would like to see more.

Everything here was taken with a 7D and a Canon 400mm f5.6 L.

As usual, any comments or feedback would be most welcome.

Cheers,

Simon.

Really nice sharp & clear set really like #1 & the composition on #2 & #6

Very nice, particularly like #6 :) That 7D is gonna have to get ordered !! :bonk:

Thanks Az! The 7D is a great camera - probably Canon's best bang for your buck new camera at the moment IMHO.
