But I'm flirting with an EF500 f4 at the minute

Hi Stu, this was back in May when I was testing it, I've kept it

It is a crop as there are young trees underneath with awful plastic collars on.
I'll take a look at it again but ISO is a tad high plus the crop means detail is lacking.

On the 2nd image..
Crop is about 40% of the RAW from memory, and techy stuff 1/1250 - f4 - ISO 8000
