Thank you Mark, still the Canon gear, 5DIV etc..
But I'm flirting with an EF500 f4 at the minute  :$

Lovely shot Gav, really like the detail and light on the wings and face. Well taken :D

OK I'm confused.. ( not hard is it? :runaway: )I thought you were using an EF 500/4

Cracking stuff as always mate.

Gav could you sharpen face in second image just a gnat's B more?......subtle mate or it will look off..is it cropped and techs please:)

Beautiful images, well done :)

Hi Stu, this was back in May when I was testing it, I've kept it ;)

Cracking stuff as always mate.
Thank you.

It is a crop as there are young trees underneath with awful plastic collars on.
I'll take a look at it again but ISO is a tad high plus the crop means detail is lacking.

On the 2nd image..
Crop is about 40% of the RAW from memory, and techy stuff 1/1250 - f4 - ISO 8000

Thank you, light was just cutting through the cloud.

Thank you, Steve

Thank you Dale. (Sorry..)

Another from slightly later in the night, High ISO
