Agree i always knew Herons could not read. Well caught(y) Hate the bird pictured in second shot, they keep me awake all night when i am fishing:D
 
I thought i had missed it, was out walking the dog this morning and saw the heron on the sign, got my camera came back and it wasn't there. Decided to walk round the pond and feed the carp that were cruising, the heron was sat on the bank and went and flew back on the sign.

Geese are noisy, but having a few thousand seagulls keep me awake when fishing.
