From the garden, all taken 2x zoom - f22 - ISO 200 - 1/200 handheld with twin flash. (small crop on the green shield bug image)

Bee is on a mini Allium, flowers are are 4mm.
Hover is on a small sunflower, the fly is 8-9mm long.
Green shield is 5mm in diameter.

I'm lucky, I've a steady hand, years of sport and shooting have refined my hold.. for now

I do bin a few images though.

The 2.5-5x lens is a test

I've nearly passed out once or twice from concentrating and holding my breath for too long
