Best iPhone App for Navigation like TomTom or Garmin?

Planning to invest in an iPhone app for navigation and wondering which is the best to buy?:thinking:

Once bought,if we don't need any further upgrades, can we just use them that way or with newer versions one has to keep paying more?
 
tomtom works great, was a little slow on the 3g but totally usable. On the iphone4 its amazing!

Skobller lite is free though and seems to work ok.
 
I use N Drive UK & Ireland, however for some reason it was removed from the itunes store a few months ago, it's supposed to be being resubmitted at some point but I don't know when. It was only £4.99 when I bought it. (It still works fine on my iphone)
 
+1 for Co Pilot
 
Tried them all and TomTom works best for me, nice freindly interface and gets me to where i need to be no problem. Navigon would be my second choice.

CoPilot - I use it on my HTC Desire, couple of friends have it on their iPhones. Works brilliantly, never had a bad trip...
