The advent calendar is counting down, so I'm getting in early here. Decs done. Tree done. Lights done. (Shopping? Don't ask)

We have a large "Christmas" tree in our front garden. Every year I have to buy a new set of lights for it as it's grown another three feet!
When it's as tall as the house I'm going to fell it just before Christmas and sell it to the highest bidder, cut to any length they want, then take it back in January for disposal (In my log burner)
Does that sound like a plan?

Not if you haven't the space to store it long enough before disposal, and the will to deal with the rest of it before splitting to logs. Had to clear several big ones in the garden couple of years ago, loads of bonfires to get rid of branches etc and logs still seasoning
