Birmingham AFA 1600ASA and a £60 Lens

Much as I enjoy my Football photography I am not in a financial position to go for a 70-200 f.2.8 or a 70-300 IS USM lens so I make do with my beloved canon 70-210f4,thats the old black one not the new white one that cost me £60 at a Camera fair.
So with that lens the 350D and 1600ASA due to the dull conditions I took these yesterday,i am quite pleased with them

Very nice Nigel. just a little too much noise reduction in #2 imo. Just shows the quality was there in the old lenses withought all this "nano" coating milarky . Kind regards Graham.

Rather that Neat Image I tried a little Noise Reduction in CS2 raw and I am still getting used to it

Very impressive images and just shows you don't always need the 'best' equipment to get results!

The last one's my favourite of the bunch. Great expression on the player in the background.
