Sorry for the repost

This little fellow managed to fly into an open patio door and become dazed. he hopped up onto the top of our patio chair and sat there for ages so i thought i'd get a quick snap before he flew off

very cute and with that turn of the head they seem to have when eying up the next meal
i know its hard but closer would be better and so loose the diamond pattern seat back which does do its own bit of claiming attention
i would say a rash crop really close might show still the power of your lens..the image of the bird is no smaller in a crop.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to get as close as I could without causing too much distress after it flew into the window would have got closer if I had a bigger lens. Only have a kit lens at the moment. I agree the crop looks much better.
