Out of 1734 photos I whittled it down to 291 and more whittling to do. I am struggling with remembering the settings.

Doesn't look like the sky was your best friend today!!!! So always fighting an uphill battle.

1) either crop out the sea or rotate the canvas for a horizontal horizon.

Not much wrong with 3-6 for 1st attempt at an airshow. Difficult to meter dark planes and bright skies. Guess shooting a bit into the sun as well....

Keep it up. 1700+ clicks. That's going some for an afternoon!!!

Worn them out already ? nice set. Pic 1 needs the work already said. Knew I should have gone to Blackpool rather than Rhyl just for pic 6. I see the wing walkers got a little closer together than they did at Rhyl.

Better than my 1700 or so - and I'm still only half way through pruning (although I didn't get home until 9!).

Nice to meet you and see the rig I've read so much about.

I was shooting the Blackpool v Hibs game today and the Lancaster + escorts flew right over the stadium... I am still seething with regret at not having a wide angle on one camera at the time :(

They are not bad though, I do like number 4! A little more contrast and it'd be lovely :)

Nice meeting you too Jackie, the beach soon emptied didn't it once it was all over.

I look forward to seeing your work from today(y)

You can't have been much further downt he prom to where I was going off the angle to the wing walkers trying to touch.

The sky was terrible, sun just to the left and above so anything shot in that direction was a nightmare. I will post some of mine in another thread.

I was debating whether to go to the air-show or the Woodvale rally, the grey skies in
the morning sent me to Southport. And looking at the skies you guys had over there, i
think i made the right decision for once...

Yep is was a good day although i did'nt listen to the radio and got there at 3pm and waited and waited.

Worth it in the end though I thought.

Were you on the beach or prom wheels ?.

Nice set Wheels, I'm liking number 4 (and 1). Would have been nice with blue sky but you work with what you have.

Was it busy?
