Blast in the Donington Park

Not posted in here for a while, went to my first proper event of the year. I was surprised at the work that had been done over the winter especially the Redgate corner with the pub gone and higher fencing and spectators being further away now.

Anyway a few photo's from saturday.

Some good stuff Danny, you've got the same setup as me ... 7D and 100-400. I quite like the pan on #4. The snake shot though the Craners is always a good racing shot. Shame to hear about Redgate, I thought there was already quite big fencing there. No pub!?!

Hi, some fantastic shots.
Sorry for my ignorance but with number 3 & 4 how do you get the car clear but the background blurred. Is it fast shutter but pan the camera slightly ?
Getting my first SLR soon so all help appreciated
