I always found photos of flowers a bit, well, all the same really, so I wanted to try something different. All of these were taken with the pure purpose of stripping away colour, and leaving only the form and textures in an attempt to get a different viewpoint, and to try and get away from the standard flower shot cliché
I don't know if I've actually achieved what I set out to do, but my girlfriend likes them - which means it was worth it the attempt, but also probably means I didn't get far enough away from my perceived flower photo cliché

All shots were hand held using a Nikon 105VR, most of them at ISO 400. All naturally lit. All comments and critique very much appreciated.
