Been over at Flamborough again this weekend trying for some more Auks in flight and had quite a good hit rate for a change! :D

This one was a new one on me, a Bridled Guillemot.

Every now and again we saw one come whizzing through with what looked like a white ring and strip, around and by the eye.

By more luck than owt, looking back through me shots, I had just one from around 50 keepers :)

D7200, Sigma 150-600c

1/2500th, f9. ISO 400 @ 300mm, slight crop for composition

As always, C&C welcome

You'll be coming back with some stunners next week............and I'll be wishing I'd kept me locations to me self :p:D

Thanks Mike :)

Never heard of a Bridled Guillemot but well done on noticing the difference ... and for the great BIF.

Thanks Roger, having spent a lot of time over there, I'm surprised I've not noticed one before.

Actually picking one out to photograph in flight would've been nearly impossible, you couldn't see the eye ring until they were nearly past, so I was pleased to see one amongst the keepers.
