Brighton Palace Pier Again

Number 4 for me as like way the golden ray from the sun on sea is behind pier, and you can make out the pier. Have you thought about using ND filter to give sea that smooth effect ?

Likewise re #4, though I don't like the obvious haloes at the top of the frame.

That said, I would hazard a guess that #2 would look much better with a squarer crop and being straightened up a little (it looks like it's tilting to the left). It would focus attention on the key components, which are the silhouettes of the name, towers and seagulls.

Excellent suggestion on the square crop. I'll give that a go.
Hadn't spotted the halo effect until you pointed it out, will try and fix that.
