Up close and personal with a bubble. A little softer than I was hoping, but it was my first attempt. Hoping to have another go at it this weekend. The hardest part was getting the bubble mixture just right to sustain them long enough to get some interesting colors.

These are fun aren't they? The colours always amaze me.

As for maintaining the bubbles, did you add some glycerine to the mix? It seems to help.

Didn't have any glycerine, not even sure where to buy it? Used some sugar instead.
 
I love these bubble shots, some amazing colour can be captured but personally I like to see them with not so narrow a DOF.
 
I agree about the depth of field. Lesson learnt for next time. :)

Your local chemist will keep it. It really helps in keeping the bubbles longer. But, as an asthma sufferer, I still struggle blowing through the straw for any length of time!
 
I agree. Going to give it another whirl this weekend me thinks. :)
