Call yourself a Sparrow!

The Dunnock or hedge sparrow - like a little mouse around in the shadows. Often seen but too quick or out of range!
I've been trying to capture this for ages to add to my collection of birds in the garden.​

Nice looking bird just a shame its a bit out of focus

Are they usually that fat? It looks like a pompom with bits stuck on it

It's a baby! Still trying to get a decent picture of the parents but they seem to stay like a little mouse under the bushes. Such poor light and wide aperture - got the eye in focus but already the tail lost in minute depth of focus.
