Lovely, I was there a couple of years ago on a road trip. I need to go back and do the Uists because the weather was so bad as we headed South to Barra, we couldn't even get out of the car due to torrential rain - the ferries were "interesting" though

We're planning a trip in June. Is there a better time of the day to avoid loads of other people or is it fairly quiet anyway? Tia.

It will probably be almost light at midnight! You'll have plenty of choice.......

Sunrise
You may have a couple of seconds during the day when there are no tourists in a part of the shot, but it gets very busy.
There are another 4 sites close by that are worth a look at that no one goes to but they are a lot smaller.
