Camera for work, Inc close up photography

Hi all,

After some help, as I partake in some photography, to my boss I'm automatically an expert now....lol.

We need a new camera in engineering, which will include primarily close up photos of aircraft parts, showing scratches, dents etc... So macro is a must.

Budget £1500, but this needs to include some lighting equipment too.

Looking for advice/ideas on what to go for, bridge, compact, body and lens....?

Only advice I can give, if you're not doing so already... and if it matters... Make sure everything is clean as close up photography will show every speck of dirt and imperfection
