Hi all,
I have previously owned the 200mm f2.8 L lens, which I thought was superb! I sold it when I got my 70-200 F4 L IS, as I found having IS more useful at that range.
I have since sold the 70-200 F4 L IS for a 135mm F2 L - which I love to bits.
Comparing the photos of my 200mm f2.8 L and 135mm L they are very similar, and share a lot in common. The 70-200 F4 L IS IMO wasn't anywhere near as good, although it was superb.
I am wondering if anyone has ever been able to compare the 70-200 F2.8 L IS Mk2 zoom against the 200mm f2.8 L @ 200mm wide open?
Primes do have a quality which (IMO) zooms cant match...but I wondered how similar these two lenses are?
Any help much appreciated
