Canon 5D with a Sigma lens

From the response I've had to my other thread about the 5D, I've decided I'm going to get one ( once I've sold my Fuji and other gear. )

I'm just wondering has anyone any experience of the Sigma 24-70 f2.8 DG Macro on the Canon 5D?

Any comments, or example shots would be appreciated.

why the sigma 28/70?

I've used the 24-70 on my fuji and found it to be ok, was just wondering what the Canon one was like.

the lens are the same, the only difference is the the mount.

but there is a bisg difference: the sensor. S5 is a 1.5x and 5d is FF.

I have used the 28/70 on a 1.6x canon and it was ok, but on a FF i don't know. Sorry
