I bought an eos m for this forum a while back(thanks bdigital ) I haven't had much chance to use it in earnest yet. First impressions are good, excellent IQ, focus in good light isn't too bad, in poor light it's not brilliant.
Touch screen is excellent, as is the 18-55 lens. It's also very small, I've big hands and I've almost dropped it a couple of times. It's easy to hit the menu buttons, especially when shooting with the camera vertical.
As for the ef adaptor, I've tried it indoors with a 24-105L and a 50mm 1.4, focusing is shocking, hunts, whirrs and takes forever to lock on, I've yet to try it in good light.
To be honest so far I much prefer shooting with my x10, but I'll reserve judgement until I've had a decent weekends shooting with the eos m.
