canon to sony adpter

I have a canon 55mm F 1.2 FD lens, what are the better adpters to fit a sony A7R body ??

Not sure this will help. I have an adapter by Urth. of course it's dumb, no electrical contacts .
The Canon lens mounts firmly. The mount to the Sony side is plastic, but again mounts firmly enough.
Tried it for the first time just now.
Seems OK, the camera meters all right.
Not tried any others adapters.

Canon FD won't have any electrical contacts anyway - all mechanical unless I'm mistaken.

You're not mistaken. The FD mount was binned by Canon when it introduced the EF mount which has electrical contacts.

Yep, I think EOS stood for Electronic Operation System (as well as being Greek Goddess of the rosy fingered dawn)
