last night i recovered some files from an external hdd which i previosuly did a quick format on. the folder once it was recovered showed in properties to be 33.1gb in size. when i went to open it up and view all the files nothing was present? however, i transfered a set of files to a flash drive and when i opened the flash drive up on my work laptop the files were present and working. these particular files in question were mp3 files (although the data which i've recovered has word, jpeg etc within it). any ideas why i can't open or even see the files on my system?
