I can see why you chose HDR as a processing method but its not my favourite. It washes the colour out.

Skew verticals are also a tricky one, and they are heavily distorted.

I know they are very expensive but tilt shift lens sort this out. Ones on my bucket list
 
Like that! Using the wide angle distortions to the pic's benefit imo!

I'm with ST4 on this one. HDR done in this way reduces contrast and depth in the image. What was the lens you used? Slightly wider would have allowed you to shoot without as much perspective distortion. Thanks for sharing!
