i photographed some of these on sunday, first time i'd ever seen one. they're actually called red-headed cardinal beetles...

Quite a few TP saw and photographed some of these at the TP Brandon Marsh Meet earlier this month, I think that you have done a really great job with these, the focus is spot on, strictly personal preference I think that the DoF is a little bit to shallow, but like I said that's a purely personal thing
