The morning Golden Hour looks very bland in comparison to the Blue Hour.
The first is much better.

I'm with Jake on these shots Steve, the first shot is lovely with really nice lighting and some great reflections. I much prefer the first image.

I guess so, it was a theme for this trip was seeing a day start end end and all the light changes within and how they effected what you saw. Was fun.

It's funny how we see things differently as I much prefer the second one although (on my iPad) it looks slightly green. I prefer the wider range of colour and increased level of detail and texture in the second
