Conditions looked good on Sunday night and the forecast predicted a gap in the clouds at dawn. So it was a trip to the hills first thing !
We took the path up from behind the Pen y Gwryd hotel. The first 15 minutes is the worst part as you have to navigate through the bog. Once you hit the path then it's just a case of head down and get on with it.
We arrived around 15 minutes before sunrise so it gave me plenty of time to figure out some vantage points.
The Panoramic was taken using the 24mm T&S lens and Lee grad ND filters

The second with the 70-200
