Cats really do lead charmed lives. I want to be one in my next life.

Is the processing a little too cheesy for your tastes? But I do like my corny 1970's soft filter effects.

This was taken using my D40 and a 300 Sigma lens, had to ramp the iso to 800 and keep the aperture as wide open as I can due to overcast conditions. The reason why I used the greyscale/sepia effect was to get rid of the distracting reds in the background curtain.

Hi Sarah! Glad you like the processing, and the cat.
Just squinted at the area you pointed out and I can see what you mean! I think it might be where I overdid it on the "lights" and "recovery" slider on Lightroom as that seem to produce a fake and thin "secondary" halo, especially on whites right next to blacks - which is the case in the cat's head.

Have logged that into mind next time I have a fiddle about in Lightroom.
