These are from a visit to Luskentyre, Harris back in february when I stayed in an apartment with this view. Shot at various times during the week.

Just for interest, here's where I set up the camera for these, on the terrace of the apartment.
Great location and so peaceful :)

Interesting to see these mono shots from here Marie, as it's quite a different effect to the strong colouring of the water. I like them all, but I think the rippling water and other textures of the middle one work best for me.

PS I'm hoping to go back there next year, so a PM with details of the apartment would be good.
 
I only posted the first one in colour. No harm in seeing how it looks it mono although I still prefer the colour version.

I think I prefer the first from these three offerings.

There are a few over exposed areas (which I don't mind on mono shots) but imo the greater contrast between the shapes of land, sea & sand make for a stronger composition.

PS

I know the property - metal steps up to the deck ? - think we looked at it but it was no pets.
