Twice in one weekend :bonk:
The day before I went on the TP Mendip Meet (see photos) and I'd told enough people about my favourite walk from Charterhouse to Cheddar that I decided to scratch that itch.
A beautiful crisp cold sunny winters day - totally different to the meet despite only being 24 hours later.

The meet was cloudy, this day after was cloudless.
The meet could see as far as the Quantocks, this day was so hazy I couldn't even see the Bristol Channel until the setting sun reflected off it.
The haze was so bad it made landscape shots pointless.
I can't decide whether the not-so-good conditions of the meet were better or worse; they were very different and both extremely challenging.

I'm quite please with a few I grabbed from the same spot as the meet and thought the gang would appreciate a look.

1) A couple standing on one of the Gorge buttresses with Cheddar behind them.

2) Gorge thorns in the foreground, Axbridge Reservoiur, Brent Knoll and the Bristol Channel.

What a difference a day makes. I like the top one the best.

like the tones in no. 2 lots...

I've walked up crooks peak in 5 and seem to remember its steeper than it looks ;-)

First is a beaut, without the couple it would be a so-so image, with them it absolutely sings .
