they have been off show for a while not well apparently but are OK now:)
had a great day watching them racing around the enclosure after being locked in for a few weeks

she's got a pink lump on her lip now I managed to photoshop it out
had a go at portrait shots with my 550D and 70-200F4

Superb set of a beautiful cat, almost a quizzical look on the face in the last one. excellent set.

Damn fine captures Pete (y) I think the windows really help light them up sometimes.

you have a point there the window on the enclosure is against the light but light does seem to come from somewhere to light up their faces
 
I think they just manage to find the right angle and distance to pose in. Not too close that you cannot focus and not too far that the dirt on the glass shows up ... who says cats are selfish :D
 
Lovely set Pete- I sometimes get up to Chester zoo once or twice a yaer- well worth a trip me thinks
