A few of MY favourites from a visit to chester zoo earlier on in the year, it was also my first real outing with the new sigma 150-500mm lens.

Cracking, The lens really does look sharp. Also its completely blown the Lion's fencing which is a super bonus as that really mess's my shots up :(
 
thanks gazedd, yes it did prove very usefull for photogaphing through the fencing, i think that is due to being close to the lion and using the 500mm focal length...... :)

I bought it on a bit of a whim, i like airshows that was the main reason, but i thought a bit of extra reach in general would be great, and it is. I really like it, however it is very heavy.
