Was in Hanley today trying, in vain, to find some Christmas cheer.
Not a bloody hope. I tell ya, Stokies must be the most dour people on earth.
This is my first attempt at Street Photography, Please let me know what you think.

I love black and white street shots, some good captures, my fav is the guy on the bench (need to remember numbers) having the complete fire door in the shot would have been better, but comp wise it works for me.(y)

Oh dear! not a lot of Xmas spirit there then.

They all look so glum but very good try! The guy swinging the furry tails has no chance of selling looking like that!
Really enjoyed these and gave me such a laugh!

I honestly thought these were good enough to warrant some more feedback. The only way anyone can learn is through feedback good and bad.
 
Christmas is such a colourful time of year I don't think black and white does the festive period much justice.

I do like the picture of the butcher, but I'm not sure the black and white offers the photo anything.
 
I was trying to show how grim Xmas is in Stoke, its certainly not festive, lol.
