While we were up visiting Donna Nook, Cobra managed to get some sand on the sensor of his 40D (we did advise not to change the lens on the beach), anyway, we didn't have a rocket blower or anything to clean it so myself an mrgubby suggested that he use the kitchen sink and run it under the water , Cobra decided to give it ago even though he was a tad unsure, sure you can guess the outcome......... one duff 40D, think it was when we convinced him the microwave was the best way of drying it that it got finished off :bang:.
Thing is he is now insisting that mrgubby and myself buy him a new camera, we don't agree, he shouldn't of listened to us, I mean we were in the bar when we discussed the idea what do you think should we be responsible and buy the new camera for him.
Are you sure this is the best way to clean it.........
This isn't drying it............
Don't think this is a good idea to be honest........
You sure 5 Min's is enough to dry it............
You 2 owe me a new camera
Disclaimer......... Please do not follow Cobras lead and clean you sensor in this way, it will result in allot less photo taking, and your camera will die, just ask Cobra
