Hi all,

a cold sunset on the moors, and I mean cold! Brrrrrr.

I really like this, i love the way the sun is hitting the snow in the foreground and reflecting back, it's almost like 3D (y)
 
Nice composition and colours - warm from the sun but still looks f f f freezing!!!
 
Beautiful, colours and contrast perfect to my eye and a lovely composition too.
 
Thanks everyone. Aye it was freezing up there, I was a gibbering wreck by the time I got back to the car.:)

I'll just point out to those who said it was worth the early start...it's a sunset (title, cold sunset). Like my bed too much.:LOL:

Thanks Gary. Yes I had a Grad on, and it's a bracket starting at -4EV. I was getting some banding around the sun, so I did an Orton of the origional to soften it up and blended everything back in except the sun and sky. I don't have the pre blended shot to hand, but here's a similar application with an earlier shot.

First the pre Orton.
