A few from our recent visit to this beautiful country. Aside from the many birdlife, we also worked on many amphibians, reptiles and mammals. As is often the case in tropical rainforest, the diversity of fauna and flora is quite remarkable. Can't wait to return next Spring.

Fantastic shots, the bat shot is superb, fair play. 4 weeks today and I am on my way there, this set just makes me more exited about going!! thanks for sharing them.
 
Beautiful images

- when I see such beauty it always alerts me to the destruction that has been done to nature by man and it's continuing path ......... I fear for such creatures and their continued existence

Great collection. CR is on my list, I really want to get there in the next few years.
 
Wonderful set and yes that bat image is just perfect. It must have been a great experience.

edit - just had a look at your link to the other pics....wow, I knew CR had a fabulous animal diversity and you've proved that in those images.................nice.
