This turned up while I was trying to snap the grebe/baby combo,mind you it was Pete ...duck_pond ...who spotted it.But I soon muscled in....lol

Now that is a wader I have never heard of let alone seen ~ please tell me where was this taken???

#1 is lovely & sharp compared to the #2 which does look a tad soft but cracking images for all my nit-picking ;)

Doh!!!! :bonk: yes, I have heard of a Sandpiper :bang: Trust me to take the title as literal :naughty: But I have not seen anywhere near enough coastal birds to be sure of anything!
 
He He ...wait till you see the Green Sandpiper ......it's brown :D

Most of the waders can be seen all over the country (inland) at various times of the year and can turn up anywhere.
