Hello,

I bought a Fuji XF1 the other week and have so far great fun with it and the fact it is tiny is even better, I have now been thinking of maybe getting a compact type DSLR, maybe a Samsung NX300 or the Fuji X A1. Are any of these cameras any good and if so which would be the best buy they are both about the £400 mark in Currys with a 18-55mm lens. The Photography I am currently doing while touring on my Bike (hence the reason for wanting a smaller unit) is mainly Landscape and a bit of Street, maybe a bit of light light/artistic type.

Any Advice would be much appreciated.

Fuji range is excellent - had a X100 which was brilliant and also have (but now selling in the classifieds) an XPro. Both take pics that I cant tell apart from my D700, although Fuji jpgs are amazing so no need to shoot raw.

Keep an eye on the Fuji refurb shop and remember to use the discount code paypal12 for an extra 10% off body/kit prices..

At the moment you could get a refurbished X-E1 plus refurbished XC16-50 (listed separately) for about £408 plus delivery (next day is £15). A bit more camera for your money than the Currys deal.

Scratch that.. with the Curry's deal you should also qualify for the free XC50-230 lens on top if you don't hang about..
