Compact Flash Stand Recommendations ?

HI ,

Looking for a small compact light stand / tripod which will be used simply to mount a flashgun for OCF shots, needs to be able to just strap to side of cam bag and be fast and easy to use , already have big light stands and tripod both of which are unsuitable for the fast pace work and too heavy so looking for a smaller alternative and really under £50 , any advice ??

if you want small, these work well. reverse top of ball head and its a coldshoe mount. there not bad mini tripods ether

Some good options there thank you all , yet it seems the product i am looking for is quite elusive or does not exist ! I dont want the wait of the larger light stands and they are also to high to stick in the side of my backpack - neither do i need the weight of a tripod as it does not need to hold any real weight , its likely to be carrying a yongnuo flash for lighting couples etc and doing backlights so dont even care if it falls over lol

Probably 30-40cm max height folded and the option of being at least 1 metre high opened up , weight wise as light as possible - does it exist !!??

I have a few of those and they work well, very light, lever-locks are fast. Mine have lasted for years but if they break, just replace.

Good alternative is the Manfrotto Nano stand, or one of its clones, eg Calumet.
