Hi all
This is my second attempt at putting a picture into a thread. As it says this is Conwy castle. I am lucky enough to live only a short drive away so I can visit quite often for that magical shot. Anyway this is my first attempt.

I used the 45-200 lumix lens which is renound for being "soft" I dislike it for that reason. So your not wrong.
 
go back with a good sharp lens and do it again, i think it would make a great photo.
 
I don't think this is lens softness here - unless it is a heavy crop.

Looks to me like you suffered some camera shake? Were you on a tripod?

Also recommend adjusting white balance so the place doesn't look so yellow/orange
 
Thanks Richard. Yes it was on a tripod. Not a very good one, and it was quite windy that night, so it could be a contributing factor. I did have the white balance on cloudy to get the warm look. Boy you know your stuff.
 
It's a shame abut the softness because if this had been sharp it would have been a belter.
