Cornfield Shot

Beautifully atmospheric, but I do feel at this size the person is slightly lost in the darkness (I do get that they are kinda lurking there). I've looked at it on Flickr and it's less of an issue there. Also, can't help but feel that the humble gas mask is becoming somewhat of an overused prop, but maybe that's just me. :)

I like the idea but this does not work for me.

The image is nicely exposed but the figure just looks lost and just because he is in a gas mask again for me adds nothing. Had he been in a boiler suit or looked dishevelled it may have worked better.

I really do like this a lot - very eerie and surreal.

Absolutely (y) for concept and composition. For me personally, it's let down by the PP though. The textures, tones and lighting are all a bit samey throughout the whole image. And while this strong HDR treatment might work on your traditional urbex shot, I feel like in this one you need a greater sense of depth and something to make the figure stand out more from the background.

is there a theme for this beyond just being a cornfield
its really wierd and i think the objective should be disclosed
cheers
