Cost of Canon 5D service

Hi All,

I have noticed some dust behind the veiwfinder, by the look of it, I have cleaned and blown out the mirror and focus plate but it is still there. It doesn't show up in pictures at all, it's just annoying the hell out of me being there.

Does anyone know about how much you would expect to pay for a service/clean and if there are any good places around the Norwich area.

I had a Sigma SD10 and Canon 10D (from work) cleaned by Park Cameras a couple of months ago. They did a very good job for £30 each.

This is where I go. I had a full service and clean with my previous 5D and if I remember correctly it cost me £160............Not cheap, but ut felt like a new camera when I got it back.

I'm sure there must be somewere in or around Norwich though. Some years back I had an insurance claim for a dslr, and was given names of places for quotes for repair. One was the Colchester one and the other was somewhere in Norfolk, but I can't remember who it was.

Hi Greg

I've used Norfolk Camera Centre before and was very pleased with the service I got, spoke to a gentleman (I think Matt ???) discussed what the problems was, he was very knowledgeable and we agred a price, which included Sp del postage back - as I said, was very pleased with the service - might be worth a call.
