Fine work mate, I'm liking the last shots in both sets. The first last has some perspective type info in it, coupled with the action, works great for me. The last of the second set is kinda class looking, great mood and so simple, my fave I think.
Id get rid of the dark hedge bit somehow ...crop it.
Great set of shots Joe, much better than my first efforts last weekend, nicely exposed and some great action. No need to go easy, you did good as far as I am concerned
Maybe use a wider view Joe go for loads of dof, and shoot with perspective .. both wickets in focus/or play with dof a bit on the rear wicket, type thing.
a nice high speed shot of the ball catching the bales would be nice too please.
Some nice shots Joe... although the light looks as dull as ditchwater unfortunatly, and I like to see tighter crops on some of them, and the Horizon needs straightening in the first 3
cheers Chris
Nice work Joe - i must have missed your first efforts.
I would suggest that you aim to have the ball closer to the bat though and ramp up the shutter speed slightly. I think, having seen the quality of your focussing, you can afford to stop down a couple of stops too - very impressed. You'll get into the rythmn of the game soon
As with RobertP, perhaps a full-on shot of the bowler in mid-air as he's about to unleash a fast ball, the concentration in his face should make a good image.
