Hi all,

Picked up a 50mm prime yesterday so have been snapping away since. This is my cat, Tic Tac - who has to be the most ignorant Cat going, but tonight she was happy to sit nicely for the first time!

Any advice on how to improve this kind of shot appreciated please? (y)

Tic tac is beautiful :) I found photo's of my black cat quite difficult. My white cat is easier. I can't critique I'm afraid as I'm just starting out, but I just thought I'd say... :)

IMHO you've done a great job. The worst thing for me, which you really had no control over is the bottom RH corner. But not too much of a problem.

I like it...background is unobtrusive; focus includes the eyes and bridge of the nose; exposure seems dead on.

I'm not fond of the vignetting...but that's a personal preference. As an alternative to the vignette I'd suggest a tighter crop. (But...I know there are folks on here who hate tight crops. LOL)

Thank you all for your replies and positive commets. (y)
I'm really please with how this one's come out so it coule be a keeper.

Thanks!
