I returned to Croxden Abbey today with the specific idea of using flash for shots I already had planned.

I took loads of others too, but here are some of the flash shots.

Nice set..#4 for me..great composition and exposure handled well

The flash is really well done in 4, way better than trying to HDR out of it. The lines and opposing directions are great.

Flash in 3 is a tad heavy and the arches out of exposure compared to the roof. One and two just don't have it, good enough I was there shots, but 4 is proper.

I'm a bit annoyed about #3 TBH. Should have realised the flash was too much.

2 and 4 are the most outstanding. You can't tell really a flash has been used. 4 is my absolute pick of the bunch.
