Great sky Pete, for me as there isn't much else around the tree, I would prefer maybe just a little more of a wide angle IMO

You may as well just give the image a square crop instead of the heavy vignetting.
In fact I'd quite like to see this one square cropped and brightened a little.

A cracking image and an excellent tree (thats from someone who lives in Cumbria and specialises in trees...)
I think the crop is good and a square one would lose those nice cloud lines on the right. Maybe slightly less of a vignette on the right might be better, but its an image I like. I must have passed very close to it yesterday on my way back home from Carlisle.

Like the shot but would like it more of the tree had a little more definition. Can you try a boost with curves (tree only) and see what it's like?
