Out for a run in the car with the camera as usual and managed a few shots of Curlews in a flooded field.

Excellent , jammy sod, always the same if I'm not there, being trying to get one of them for donkeys ages.

Very nice pics there bro, that lens working well, good combo with 1.4tc

That swan looks mean behind it...."its behind you!" "oh no it isn.....oh my god!"

Very good......(y)

I keep hearing them whilst up on the moors, never been close enough to photograph them.

Theres bizzzillions up here in northumberland, never tried to get shot but after seeing these i might give it a go. Great shots !

Never been near enough to snap them like that. Well done

Hi,

thanks all, just taken from the car window and they seemed not to mind as normally they lift and move further away when they see a car stopping, much the same as geese do as they seem to know the range of a shotgun and always manage to sit about 60-70 yards away, stop and then look back at you mockingly.

Ok the TC helped but even so these are pretty sizeable crops, but without a hide set up I don't think I could get any closer.

Mike.
