Cwm and cloud

This won't be to everyone's taste - but I've thought for a couple of years there was a photo on this hillside. When I went up a couple of weeks ago, the clag was too far down, but as I was eating a snack by the llyn it rolled up the hill for just a few minutes. Went home happy.

I like this, I think I could be improved slightly with a 16:9 crop taking part of the cloud away however.

I like it as well. The moments of clarity in the grotty weather are always worth a wait. Good call on the crop suggestion but a good shot as it is.

Thanks Nick. Good guess but Cwm Clogwyn. Neither I nor Rob Collister know the name of this broken crag on the east of the cwm above Llyn Glas.

A wider crop losing some of the sky and it’s there

I thought i preferred the original until I tried the crop. It does work better.

Thanks all, and for the comments on a crop. I've lately been putting more and more sky in my mountain pics, partly to be able to darken the top of the frame, but mainly because I increasingly feel it's mountain plus sky I'm after, not just mountain. I'll try a crop on this and see how it goes.
