Hi all, been charging the battery all day with no luck! Lights are flashing, as if it's charging, but when it's in the camera-nothing!

Anyone know if this is a battery problem or am I being simple and done something to the charger?

Have you tried pressing the calibration button and giving it another go?
 
You say lights are flashing, but which lights?
Do the lights for the three charge levels come on to indicate rise in charge level?
How old is the battery? Level 0,1,2,3 for example
